I am a new midwife, opening my midwifery practice in 2009. Having experienced typical obstetrical care with my first pregnancy and birth in early 2001, I was amazed at the difference when I experienced the Midwifery Model of Care two years later. Our family loved midwifery care so much, that our midwife was one of the first to hear our pregnancy news the third time around in 2005!
It is my calling and desire to "pass it on" and offer that same care and support to women and their families.I am now offering homebirth midwifery care as primary midwife while under the continued supervision of my preceptor, who is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). I am trained and maintain current certification in both neonatal resuscitation and professional CPR.
I have a La Bassine Eco pool available for rent if you desire a waterbirth.
