Susan accepts insurance, Medicaid, and self-pay plans.  She provides discounts to self-pay families and to early pay clients.  The parents may choose to schedule a free initial interview to discuss their birthing wishes.
Susan also teaches prospective doulas with labor support skills in workshops sponsored by CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals Association.)  She mentors and teaches prospective midwives with a course that she designed that has been approved by SC DHEC Midwifery Advisory Council.
Susan is the mother of 3 grown children and 2 granchildren that she delivered in their home.  Susan is married to Bob, her husband of 34 years.  They are both active members of their church where they teach, sing, and participate in mission trips.  They also enjoy their family, hiking, biking, and the beautiful outdoors!
