I'm interested in this school too and I looked into the whole nursing/midwife thing. If you want to be a certified NURSE midwife then you obviously have to do nursing, but in some midwife schools, if you take the NARM it means that you will be a CPM and it's direct entry, no nursing required. I literally just found out so I'm pretty excited about it :)

I attend FMU, and right now I am in the prenursing program preparing to get my nursing degree. I really just wanted a little bit of information about how to go about going from FMU to your school of midwifery, entrance requirements, cost, credits transferring, etc. I just would like to have an idea so that I make sure I go about getting my degree here in the correct way.

Hi, I've been taking midwifery classes for a few years and have a nursing background. I'm moving to Fort Mill, SC soon and would like more info about your program. Specifically, can I transfer credits/experience, length of program and preceptor info ie do you provide them?
Looking forward to your reply.
My best,
Christina
